  3. How it works

  5. The four projectors shine a 
  6. pattern of 8 green lights on the 
  7. cornea which the examiner uses 
  8. to align the instrument for 
  9. measurement. 
  10.  
  11. There is a red fixation light which 
  12. projects along the optical axis 
  13. of the instrument and out the 
  14. central projection window onto 
  15. the cornea.  This light is not only 
  16. for the patient to fixate on, but 
  17. also an alignment target for the 
  18. examiner.
